Soda Jerks first location opened March 7th, 2011 at 17520 – 100 Ave Edmonton, Alberta. After sampling 100’s of burger recipes, making dozens of menu revisions and constantly tweaking the concept; Soda Jerks Burgers & Bottles at West Point Center had become a fun and quirky new restaurant concept.
Better burgers start with over 50 toppings. Not only do we have the conventional toppings that most joints offer but we want you to have fun with your uniquely creative burger. Try it with peanut butter, Doritos, Calamari or even Chocolate Covered Bacon!
Better Beef Patties start with 100% Angus Ground Chuck. This is a whole muscle grind with the right amount of fat content to make every burger juicy and delicious. We use secret spice which makes for the perfect Soda Jerks hamburger patty, mixed and smashed daily.
Better sodas start with glass bottles. Not only does this have a nostalgic feel it makes the soda taste crisper and cleaner. The most unique sodas only come in glass bottles as they are easier to fill and cap. We also think that Soda tastes the best from a glass bottle so a cup with ice by request only!
Better milkshakes start with hand-scooped hard ice cream. Everything is better when you need to work for it. We take hard ice cream and hand blend it the old school way with a variety of flavors. This makes the shake thick and real.
Better sides start with better ingredients. We use Kennebec potatoes and our Fries are cut fresh. Using our signature four step process we produce the best hand cut fresh fries.

If we can do it we will, and saying no takes 2 people. If a guest asks if they can have a fried banana on their burger, you may know that we don’t have bananas but what you don’t know is that someone brought one for themselves and they are willing to give it up for the guest. By not saying no right away it gives you an ability to double check with other team members to see if anyone has an idea on how to say yes and exceed expectations.
We are all here to serve everyone who walks through our doors which includes each other. We don't have customers we have guests. We have invited them into our home and want to take care of them. This is a social visit. Their expectation is to relax and be taken care of. They want to have fun and forget about life. Giving people smiles and being excited needs to be important. From the person who washes dishes to the Director of Operations all people are an integral part of our business partnership. We don't have franchisees we have friends.
